Why do we need to go to Church?

For me, being part of a local church is so that we can be sanctified and made holy by the Word of God with other members of the body of Christ. I cannot do it alone, nor did God intend that we do. Being more like Christ means to be in community with others, and the local church is being in community with other believers.

Thank you for answering, Chris! I’m just having too many problems right now and sometimes it tests my faith. It’s been a long time since my last visit in the Church. I hope to go back and start a new beginning serving God again.

It’s to worship God and to learn the word of God so that we can also evangelize others.

What we learn at Church gives us guidance on how to follow God.
