You can be a Christian if you believe in some core beliefs.
Only God knows your heart.
Some people believe that they are Christian as long as they are following God’s commandments and also helps other to grow their faith in God.
For me base on my experience, I become a Christian when I already repent of my sins and serve the Lord God with all my heart.
Repenting my sins and asking God for forgiveness and knowing Him more and letting Him enter my life I am already a Christian.
