God answers our prayers, of course, everything that happens to our lives is part of God’s answer because we are never strong enough or stand where we are right now if doesn’t answer our prayers.
For example, when we ask God’s guidance, He allows us to go down the wrong path to make us realize that all we did is not the will of God. When we ask God for happiness, we encounter sorrow because after those difficulties there is grace of God awaits us.
Keep holding on to the promises of the Lord even though it is difficult. Remember there is always Joy after the pain.

Of course God answer our prayers, Because God never let us suffer. He is always there to help us. Always remember that is always with us.
Psalm 66:19
“But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.”

Yes. Without God’s protection and answer, I will not be who I am now.
God answers our prayers, maybe sometimes we think that God never answers our prayers, but I just want you to know that God has a reason for that because He has a bigger plan in your life.
