2 Corinthians 12:9
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
In this verse, the apostle Paul describes how he pleaded with God to remove a particular affliction or " thorn in the flesh".
However, God’s response to him was that His grace was sufficient and that His power was made perfect in weakness.
This passage highlights the idea that God’s power is often most evident in our times of weakness or struggle.
It suggests that through our storms, God can demonstrate His strength, faithfulness, and the sufficiency of His grace.
