“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

It teaches us that our salvation is a gift from God, not something we can achieve on our own. It calls us to place our faith in Jesus Christ and His redemptive work, acknowledging our need for His grace and surrendering our self-reliance.

It reminds us that salvation is a result of God’s love and mercy, and it is through faith in Him that we can experience the fullness of His grace and eternal life.

Let us never take for granted the incredible gift of salvation we have received. May we continually grow in our understanding of God’s love and grace, living out our faith in a way that brings glory to Him and points others to the saving power of Jesus Christ.
