By grace we have been saved

Ephesians 2:8-10
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

God has a purpose for each one of us. We are not saved by our works, but we are created in Christ Jesus to do good works. These good works are not to earn our salvation but are the fruit of a transformed life and a response to God’s grace. God has prepared those works in advance for us to walk in.

Ephesians 2: 8-10 reminds us of the incredible gift of salvation we have received through God’s grace and the significance of our purpose in Him. It encourages us to live out our faith, knowing that we are uniquely designed to do good works that bring glory to God and bless others.

The idea of grace refers to God’s unearned favor and love extended to humanity, despite our shortcomings and sinfulness. It is a demonstration of His boundless mercy, compassion, and forgiveness. Grace is not something that can be earned or deserved; it is freely given by God.
