Due to the fact that Earth Day and their annual Earth Optimism event both fall on Easter Monday this year, they chose to combine the two celebrations into one massive, eco-friendly party! The zoo will provide Easter activities such as an egg hunt, games, and shows for the whole family. In honor of Earth Day, scientists will be on hand to teach kids about the importance of conservation in a hands-on environment.

Visit the Reston Community Center Pools for an underwater egg hunt. Some of the eggs will float on the surface, while others will be submerged for the more daring swimmers.
